The secret to resolution is in the process

Sometimes, our circumstances can leave us overwhelmed, helpless and stumped. We think there’s just no way out. If we think that then we are already defeated. We will never get out of those circumstances that are getting us down. Instead, we begin to believe that that is our lot in life and make no effort to get out!

What a pity! Because we could have gotten out of that mental state if we had put our minds to it! For example, you may find that you have a special child or a difficult child, or you just can’t get a job to support yourself or your dependents, or you are in a problematic relationship and so on. These are real problems and we may not know how to deal with them. Confused and unresolved, the issue wears us down.

What I want to share today is simply this: If you are in such a situation, and it is bearing down heavily on you, you will find relief once you start looking for a way to deal with it. The trick to relieving your stress is to look for a solution and take steps one by one towards it. Some steps may not work out, then you just need to look for alternatives. Some steps you may not want to take, but if they are necessary, you need to take them. The end result is that you learn to deal with your problem so that it is no longer an issue!

It is in the process of searching for a solution that we find relief and creative ways to move forward. That’s also how we grow. If you are a person of faith, step out in faith and you’ll find openings where you thought there were none before. Enter those doors, they will lead you to an amicable end. Trust your heart; let it compel you to choose the doors, and guided by your value system of what is right and wrong, step into them. Move and act swiftly. The open doors are all in front of you. A heart which loves will see them.

Again, I wasn’t planning to write this but this thought came to my mind as I prayed about other things and I felt I should write about it. Perhaps, it will help someone or some people.

Very true indeed, and the resolution could very well be at the next step take we take.
